My girlfriend is having surgery in 2 weeks and she lives in Ohio. I live in NY right now and it’s hard not being able to be with her through it. What can I do for her to make her smile show her I care from another state? Are there any cool websites that put together romantic gift packages or anything????

I recently put a question on here about Three boys I was interested in. Tuesday night I was with the second boy “Jose” for about 4 hours. We talked about the last girl he was interested in and issues we had in old relationships, ultimately at the end we kissed. As we all know yesterday was halloween and he told me he would see me, I was walking in his apartment complex with my two friends and he was walking through the parking lot, My friend yelled his name through the window and I don’t know if he saw me or not but he made a sign with his hand not to bother him and he kept walking. Should I be offended? He knows that if he sees her he most likely will see me.
Also, one of my aquaintences that is 14 (He is 19) Said that when she spent the night over his house that she slept in his bed. (He has two younger sisters.) Should I ask him about this or brush it off? She has a very nasty reputation.

I suggest to send a surprise gift. The best place to deliver a surprise gift is his or her workplace. A note attached e.g “see you tonight!”, “will be here at 8:30pm”… would in-ceases the atmosphere of romance. As there’re many too many way to fill your stomach up, Candle-light dinner will be great (but do choose a restaurant with the least noise) or An Eat around dinner will help to save time & made the date more interesting. (as both of you could enjoy the activities at the same time) Activities could be something both or either party had never tried before or interests of both or either party. Spa & massage were recommended. Ends the day with romance after all the happenings with a slow stroll at the seaside or within the mother of nature. Don’t forget to give each other goodnight kiss!

I really think I missed my chance to get with her cause the day she figured out that I like her, her friends were pressuring me to sit with her and kept saying “go get your girl”. I honestly did’nt want to sit with her that day, I wanted to sit with my friend and give her some space. 2 weeks later ( she was quiet for very long time when I sat with her a couple of times), I asked my freind what she thought of me. She said she didn’t like me and she gots a man now. Also, he told me she said that I got no game, in a joking way. I don’t understand, is it too late or do I got a chance. She dumped a bf (Day I didn’t sit with her, I think) and got a new one. I mean was she giving me a sign or what? I think I messed it up now. Next day, my friend told me that her and her friends said I got no game in a joking way. Now 2 weeks later, I found out my friend liked her now and was trying to get with her. She didn’t look interested at all. The boy was being picked on and the people were trying to tell him to get with her, they forced him to sit with her to. I was 2 rows back when this happened on the bus. Everyone messes with him anyway. But some reason, she turned and looked at me for like 2-3 seconds then turned around. She was very shy when she was around me and very quiet too. Could it mean that she dosen’t like me or what. Most people said I should move on or something. Is she being hard to get and when she looked at me, is this a sign? Today the boy sat with her and then she turned around a looked at me again and sat back talking to her friends.

My husband and I have been to five marriage counseling sessions and still no help, things actually feel like there getting worse. Just wondering how many sessions people have gone through before they noticed any improvements or changes in their marriages. I know it varies, but I am getting very frustrated and ready to call the counseling and the marriage quits.

My boyfriend is in Iraq. He gets home in the beginning ofJune - and I want to have something sexy ready for him when he gets back. I have to pick him up from the airport, so i would really like to be able to walk through the door with him and treat him to something extra special - considering we havent been able to make love, or anything sexual at all for over 6 months.
Any thoughts or ideas?

There’s this girl that I like and there’s this other boy who likes her too. They do not talk often though but:
-He asked her if she won the competition and she said no, grinning and talking a bit more. Then she was about to walk away and asked him in return if he won. He said yes and I’m not sure what she was doing, but he was giving a thumb-up. But even in texts, she will always ask me back the question that I ask her. And she also talks to other boys. Is it just a friendly gesture to him or what?
-He told her that he would return her DVD next Monday (she lent him) but she just nodded.
Are these signs of interests?
Girls, would you do the same thing if a boy you regard as just a friend asks you a similar question? Would you answer and reply the smile and ask him back? Because taht’s what she always did to me, especially in text message? Does it mean she likes him too? My friends said no - it can be just being friendly. Are they right?

I want to plan something real special. Because this day and age I feel 10 yrs is an accomplishment and want to celebrate it well. Any ideas? Romantic trip? Gift?

My girlfriend and I have been going out for a while now (7 years) and I’ve used many many different romantic ideas. My budget is a bit tight already, I’ve spent quite a bit on the othergifts, but I need 2 more gifts that are really unique and romantic. My wife had an affair 2 years ago, and we have never fully healed as a couple. We have 3 kids, and have been in marriage counseling now for the last 2 months. I don’t see the counseling helping us yet, and I am becoming more miserable everyday. I don’t want to leave my kids, but I won’t be much good as a father if I lose myself emotionally because of the marriage. I feel the love is gone from our relationship and soon we won’t even be friends either. Should I get out while we can still (hopefully) be friendly after a divorce, or do I stay and give counseling more time? If I stay - how long should we be in counseling?

my husband and i got married in july 07.we were 19 i was 7 months pregnant. he moved in with me and my parents and worked because i got fired. in august of that year he was texting and emailing girls in a dirty way saying he should have f***ed them when he had the chance. he would visit them after he got off work. i said something about it and he said he would stop, he didn’t, in april of this year i found out he had cheated on me when i was 5 months pregnant. and he was texting that same girl saying he was gonna stay the night and have some drinks with her while me and my daughter were out of state. i confronted him and he didn’t go. i’m getting really frustrated with him keeping things from me. and not helping me with our baby. i want to move out but he has a major spending problem and he makes good money but just blows it. he is taking advantage of living with my parents. i’m just not happy anymore. i haven’t really been our whole marriage. i don’t know what to do. can someone help me with some advice? sorry this was kind of long. i appreciate all answers

My husband and I have been having a lot of problems pretty much since we got married. Problems with drugs which has recently seemed to have changed and We also have very unusual problems, one of the biggest ones is the involvement of a 50 year old man (my husband is 23) in his life. This man has spent thousands of dollars on my husband and I do not want this man around anymore, he has put a wedge between us, i want to blame this man for a lot of our problems even though they are not all his fault. He claims to be a christian but has not dated anyone in over 30 years. He seems obsessed w/ my husband. i hate it! Anyways my husband i are going to try marriage counseling at a chuch next week, i am just curious about what they do and what i can expect to talk about. I am scared they will want me to accept this man in my life. I am pretty nervous about this, i would just like to get an idea of what i am about to go through. thank you!!!

Well, i’m a young woman (21) in a stable relationship. I know i might be too young but lately i have been having baby fever, everywhere i go i see babies and pregnant women. I can’t stop the feeling of wanting to be a mom, i feel ready for it and have knowledge about raising kids (i raised both of my siblings). I’ve talked about having kids to my partner but he doesn’t want to have any kids or get married ever (he had a bad previous marriage). It breaks my heart thinking that i won’t be able to refer to him as “my husband” or have his kids. I’m not pushing the issue because i don’t want to scare him or make him mad. But i really want to become a mother within the next few years i just don’t know how to approach it or tell him exactly how i feel about having a baby.
Any good advice is appreciated.
