i need valentine’s gift ideas for my girlfriend. she’s 16. any ideas? something romantic, perhaps? serious answers only please. thanks ya’ll

My husband and I recently separated …he said he is not in love with me anymore and doesn’t want to be married at all. I am in love with him we have two children one is only 5 weeks old! I have asked about marriage counseling when the problems first started and he said no but I feel like this is really my last chance …What should I do?

I was told that I had to get a real divorce because we have a marriage certificate. I don’t want to go to all that expense if I don’t have to. I don’t want him in trouble, just out of my life.

there is this boy who is 14, lets call him dan. i am 14 too and dan i thought was a shyboy. he always acts really shy around me and sometimes doesnt even make eye contact. he is allways really nervous and fidgety around me. when i asked him for his cell number, he voice was shaking. he also sort of avoids me at times. he is not like this with my friend though, with her he is more outgoing, not nervous and actually talks and makes eye contact, which his sister told me is how he usually acts at home. he doesnt go to my school, so i havent seen his reactions around any other girl except for my friend(who is a girl that is not that pretty).i sent him a couple of text messages, and he didnt respond to any, because he “isnt good at texting girls” i used to like him, until his mom saw me one day and told me that dan thought i was really cute and to not take it personal that he didnt text me back because apparantly other girls have texted him and he never texts back. she also told me that he wasnt too interested in girls right now. im so confused, cuz he showed all the signs around me…different behavior, nervousness, etc… please help! do you think he likes me based on how he acted around me and my friend and what his mom told me?
ps…he knows that i like him but hasnt done anything. last time i saw him he ignored me and didnt even say hi

Valentines day is coming up, I have no idea what to get my boyfriend! I was thinking about boxers that say I love you or something like that. He doesn’t really like chocolate, so scratch that idea. I want to get him something reasonable but romantic at the same time. Any suggestions?

He had an affair about 7 months ago and we are both trying so hard to overcome it and get past it. He is remorseful and i havent seen him try this hard since he tried to get me to marry him 10 years ago. I know he loves me and is sorry and is doing everything right to “fix it”. But I still think counseling would be helpful. He thinks everything is ok, cuz i dont say anything, i bottle it up to keep things normal, but I really think I need further professional help, but I really want marriage counseling for us both. How do I delicately approach the subject without coming off as demanding it. How do i get him to see that I think it would really be helpful. I still have so many questions surrounding his affair and I am afraid to just ask them. I think a marriage counselor in the middle would be a better alternative, for I have read that in times of healing from an affair, certain things said can be more damaging than helpful and I want guidance to get through it.

Well, to start I am a stay at home mom I have no friends and I have no car. I dont go out, the only person I talk to is my mom and the only place I go to is like family parties. So here is the thing every time my husband gets mad he breaks my things (he started in Nov.07) first he broke my cell phone and a jumbo remote for my tv that i thought was really cool, then he broke a coffemaker that my mom gave me when we moved into this house. Last night he got really mad at me because i slammed the window, it really was an accident it slipped. he came out of the garage and started yelling at me and said what the f was all that slamming and why was i mad i said i wasnt mad the window just slipped. so i just stayed quiet and he kept yelling and i know he was about to get something and break it so he couldnt find anything so he punched the door really hard it cracked from the back. he said you want me to break something i said do what ever you want i am not afraid of you but if you break my things you are the one responsible and you are the one getting in trouble. Because about two months ago i purchased my computer and i thought he was gonna go for it. if he broke it this time i would call the cops. so he though about it i guess and he kept staring at me and said i think that the best thing for me to do is to pack my things and go. its like we cant ever have an argument because he always says that he should leave. man! he is such a freakin couard. another thing is that i love him he tells me he loves me and we never arrgue. but when we do he always wants to leave, i also hate it when he calls me dude every time he gets mad at me he is like dude dude dude. so any way every day is the same routine i get up take my son to school go home clean pick up my son. then he gets home from work goes in the garage and that is every day well mon-sat on the week end me and my son always stay at home he never takes us any were. ive been telling him if he could take us to the beach for like over a month now and just wont take us. I told him yesturday that we arrgued that i am tired of this life style that im just here 24-7 and he tells me well thats your life and thats how its gonna be. And i said to him that why he has friends and he goes with them when ever he wants, he tells me that nobody can stop him from leaving or doing what ever he wants. and i hate it when he tells me that. may be in my case i am the only one in love. I have been applying for jobs but so far noone has called i think that i should just work and be independent. buy myself a car and go places with my son. One reason why i dont let my husband go is because we have a son. and i dont want him to suffer. So that is my story if any one can give me some advice please help

my girlfriend and i have been going out for about 3 months and valentines day is coming up. i need a romantic and sweet thing for my girlfriend. i already gave her a necklace for christmas and she loved it, so no jewelry plz. something simple and something she’ll like.

i know my bf is planning a special vday for me and i would like to make it extra special for him in return. does anyone have some great unique yet romantic ideas? nothing sexual or rude please!
i was going to make a cd with sweet/touching songs on it to listen to through the night and then let him keep it, he loves dancing with me. but i’m not sure of any real special songs. =( and i feel it’s not enough so i need another idea.

My girlfriend is turning 18 on Halloween and even though it’s a couple months early, I’ve decided to think ahead. She’s intereseted into physcology and loves reading books in her spare time. Her interest is also art, but nothing digital. She’s rather traditional. So I wanted to make her a novella, a short 500 pages or less novel with a hard cover design totally dedicated to her & that is based on her. On the side of course I’ll have that pendant I’ve been wanting to get her. Any ideas how I can MAKE (not write) my novel and the way I can present it to her along with the pendant?

I’m US citizen and planing to getting married in india this september to indain citizen girl. The question that i have is what is the best way to petiton for her so she can come to US in less time. I heard that one has to stay in india for two months to file for marriage petition , but because of my work situation i can only stay in india for 3 weeks, so i’m not sure if i can apply her on marriage visa or do i need to file finance visa for her. OK, I will give you the secrets, if you follow them you will always be happy, I promise. You BOTH have to do this, make it a lifestyle, make it a character trait.
1. Make your spouse #1. If you receive pleasure from seeing them happy, YOU will be happy. If you compete for the attention, money, things, etc., you will not be happy
2. NEVER, EVER say bad words to your spouse, EVER. It is poison! Deadly poison! It is OK to disagree, even to be angry, but DO NOT call this person by bad names, make fun of them, ridicule what they do or say. If your spouse angers you or causes you a problem, say what it is and what is the problem it causes. DO not say “Hey a**hole, you left your socks on the floor again” You simply cannot. It is a knife to the heart and your spouse will bleed to death in time.
3. Remember, this is your SPOUSE, not your boyfriend. There is nothing about them that is dirty or shameful. Between you two all is safe, all is good. Be willing to experiment and be adventurous, there is nothing wrong with it, nothing is poison, demeaning, or degrading between two people in love. try it, you might like it, and maybe even you will take pleasure in pleasing your spouse.
4. Keep secrets between both of you, not from each other. And keep them secret! What is behind closed doors is for you only. You must be comfortable to say anything and do anything and not be ridiculed and not have your confidence broken. A couple should share very intimate moments and secrets, and it isn;t always about sex, it could be that you are afraid of the dark, it doesn’t matter. If one of you is afraid of the dark, the other needs to learn to live with sleeping with a light on and not say it is “stupid”
5. Always look for ways to please the other. when you have to send 43 emails for work, send another for your spouse. When you have to make 20 phone calls at work, call your spouse, say “I love you, I am very busy, but I was thinking of you” When you have to mail birthday cards to someone, mail a “love” card to your spouse. Everything you must do for work or life, learn to think of your spouse and give them one of whatever you are doing.
6. Make your home the place you WANT to be. It has to be safe and warm and free of stress, it must be the sanctuary, if it isn;t at home, where?
7. NO TV or work in the bedroom!
8. Kiss them whenever you can.
9. End every conversation, every note, every email with “I love you” Always it will be the last words they said to you. Say it 10 times a day, at least.
10. do as much as you can together. Help the other when you can. Always look for ways to help.
11. If your job interferes, cut back on the job, not on your spouse. Good wives and husbands are harder to find than good jobs.
12. Encourage and take pride in what the other does. Praise them for what they do.
13. Do this every day until you die
It is work, but I do not find it hard work. Today, my wife called me twice at work (I always answer, it is a cell phone ONLY her and the kids have the number for) she asked “are you busy, can you talk” I said “Yes, for a few minutes” she said “I really miss you today, more than usual and I wanted to hear your voice” The second time she said “I am really glad I met you and we got married” Do you think this is a problem? Do you think this interrupts me? Not at all.

Me and this boy i like hooked up a month and three weeks before the school year ended..we were together for 1 month and 2 weeks..i guess the last week kinda got messed up.. but i was having friend problems so i was kinda out of it. but me acting like that ruined my relationship with this boy i loved more than anything.. the weird thing is he told me he loved me more than anything. and its weird cause when he broke up with me (over text not to mention.. ugh that still bugs me.. hes too pathetic to tell me face to face) he said “Sorry” and i was like “its fine i just want the best for you :)” and then he said “Uh its not the best for me” When a boy says that what does he mean?? But he broke up with me he texted me after school telling me we were ‘drifting apart’. but he said he wanted to keep in touch. and i texted him twice this week i told him to text me a couple days ago and he hasnt texted me at all.. and i just remembered it is his birthday today and i texted him saying Happy BIrthday!.. lluckily i had an excuse to text him.. im afraid of like he will think im clingy or something. but i do want to be friends im okay with just friends if thats as far as hes willing to go. but im wondering all you guys out there… what does it mean when you guys dont text the girl back after a couple days when she says to text you abck.. and he still isnt answering me.. i just said a friendly “Happy Birthday” and we were pretty close even wehn we broke up.. we just didnt see each other enough…
