How romantic… maybe a crusty french bread and cheese, sipping on your champagne w/strawberries.
Fried chicken or cold rotisserie chicken sandwiches. This is a great salad…
3/4 lb. red potatoes (the smallest you can find)
1/2 lb. thin, french green beans
1/4 lb. English cucumber, peeled and sliced
1/4 C. fresh dill, chopped
1/4 C. minced red onion
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. teaspoon sugar
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Prepare washed, cleaned potatoes by cutting the larger ones (over 1 1/2″ or so in diameter — smaller ones can stay whole) in half, then salting all potatoes lightly. Steam for about 15 minutes, until tender. Cool. Trim the French green beans, then steam for about 6 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Cool. In a large mixing bowl, combine potatoes, green beans, cucumber, dill, and onion. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, salt, sugar, mustard, and pepper to taste. Pour over potato mixture and stir gently to mix. Let flavors combine for about an hour in the refrigerator.
Whatever you decide have a great time!

The champagne and strawberries are a good start… how about…
A couple of wine glasses ( you can find really nice ones at the dollar store, and if they happen to get broken or chipped, you’re only out a couple $$)
Some good quality chocolate (Gheraidelli chocolate is sooooo good and not terribly expensive)
A loaf of french bread and some cheese.
A container of rose petals to spread on the sheets after you turn the bed down, or float in the tub ( obviously real rose petals won’t travel well, tear apart some silk roses, pop the petals in a zip lock baggie)
A few votive candles in your favorite scents ( lavender is so relaxing)
Bubble bath or bath salts and some massage oil
A sexy satin nighty and a pair of silk boxers
Your favorite romantic DVD ( most hotels have DVD players, here’s a link in case you can’t think of a romantic movie http://www.couplescompany.com/Features/C… )
Maybe arrange for room service to bring you a romantic dinner or breakfast as a surprise, or include a coupon ( homemade ) saying ” Good for one romantic candlelit dinner ” or ” Good for breakfast… the morning after ;)” and plan ahead to pay for it yourself.
Have fun, hope I helped!

yeah champagne is good and strawberries. go with some dipping chocolate for the strawberries that way you can feed them to one another. Chocolate is an afrodisiac so it’s good for getting one in the mood. some soft cheese is always a good idea with maybe club house crackers.
cheese cake is good as well with a little cherry sauce drizzled on it.
And some really pretty flowers and lots of love
