If he has a clean record, no. It shouldn’t effect him. But to be sure if there’s any new rules or laws, contact your local immigration office and ask them few questions. Sometimes things are ok at one point and then a new law pops up and it isn’t ok anymore. So better to follow up with them first.
I don’t think it would hurt him.

Because its YOUR felony.
If you were the immigrant with the felony then that would effect your ability to become a citizen. But your felonies don’t effect them.

YOUR felony doesn’t stop HIM from getting citizenship.
