Hello! We are a newly engaged couple. This is our first new year’s together. I want it to be special. We both agreed to spend it together alone. My fiance doesn’t want us to go to some club or ball. He says it’s not our style and we won’t be happy there. Do you have any ideas for me, please? We have a money gift that we can spend, so money shouldn’t be a problem. Also, we don’t live together and he lives in another town. He will come all the way to spend new year’s eve and may be two days with me. Thank you!

Hi. My gf and I never go out on New Years. It is just too loud, forced and crazy. We have made a tradition that this day is entirely just for us. It is the day when we only have eyes for one another. We have gone to a fancy hotel and soaked together in a big tub, gotten room service, watched a movie in bed together, and then exchanged our secret wish right at midnight. At midnight, we can each reveal one wish we would have that the other could do for us (nothing big, just loving like I want you to take me for a walk on the beach). The other person has to try to fulfill that wish within the coming year. How does that sound?

i think home is the best place for romance. have a wonderful dinner, by candle light, champagne, a romantic desert. soft music and just enjoy each other. there’s nothing like bringing in the new year while in each others arms. congrats.

Try at home or a nice hotel that you think both of you might like. And making a nice romantic dinner between the both of you.
