My boyfriend and I have been talking about marriage allot. It’s something we both want right now and we can only think of like 5 people to invite that we actualy like.
So what are some things we could do INSTEAD of an actual wedding, but still something to remember
I Need Some Marriage Advice?

Just do something special with those five people. You can usually get someone to afficionate the wedding anywhere and then go out together and celebrate. I never understood the big wedding thing.

There is something to be said for smaller weddings. The most romantic wedding I went to happened to be in a back yard. No joke. It was catered with a small tent and no DJ….just a very good sound system with the wedding song and other music.
Another one that was nice was inside of an exclusive private school. The hallways were decorated with flowers. Lovely. Piano music and floating trays of food.
Think quaint and intimate gathering as opposed to huge gala in wedding factory style with a loud obnoxious DJ.
Whatever you decide, I hope it is nice. Pick a nice early fall day in the park or a beach. Just make sure you have an indoor back up plan on the premises!
Best Wishes!

My daughter and her husband had their wedding at Park along with BBQ or special place you two enjoy to be, Ocean or lake wedding, in the pool wedding, Just think of what you love to do and if it is in a public place check with the City and Park and Recs for any fees or applications needed. My daughter only had to pay $20 to reserve a Ramada at a public park with a lake in the backdrop.

def not vegas. do a small wedding with those five people. have a civil wedding, then go out 4 lunch or dinner at a nice restaurant. then u and ur hunny go away. it doesnt even have to be that far as long as u 2 r together. u dont want to have a wedding that doesnt include acouple of ur friends and family members. that a day that should be shared w/ ur loved ones as well as his. and the honeymoon or getaway is the part that u should really enjoy. i live in ny and would def go to niagra falls, not 2 far but it would be unforgetable and romantic. good luck.

My Dear, all that is necessary is that, it should be legal.
So, whether there is one person or five persons or a whole congregation, all it needs is the legitimacy. Once it’s certified by the registrar of marriage and witnessed by an eye, that is all.

Get married at the court house and have a party with those that you really like to celebrate afterward….. Marriage is not about the wedding it is about the life that you build together

why not get married by a j.p.in a nice restaurant with your family and close friends? or maybe have it in your home. either would be very intimate. if you are planning on a honeymoon, get married at your destination-just the two of you

You can go to the court house and then have a get together @ your house and celebrate your marriage. I mean like a private reception. That way you can invite anyone you want.

Small elopement ceremony. Depending on your city you can buy packages online. You can have it done at beaches, golf courses, bed and breakfasts, etc. You could even have a small backyard ceremony. Congrats.

Take a cruise and get married on the boat. It’s a beautiful ceremony and the honeymoon is already paid for.

Your local court house. That’s what my husband and I did, not because of money and/or the amount of people would be there but because he was only on a short leave.
